Theme Description

The Social Media Campaign competition challenges participants to create a dynamic and engaging social media campaign that uses digital platforms to promote global sustainability. The campaign should focus on raising awareness about the role of technology and leadership in solving urgent sustainability issues such as climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality. Participants are encouraged to leverage creative content, including graphics, videos, and interactive posts, to engage and educate audiences on actionable steps for sustainability. The campaign should inspire followers to take part in the movement for a sustainable future, showcasing how digital leadership can drive collective action. Through effective storytelling and strategic use of social media tools, participants will demonstrate the power of technology in shaping a sustainable world.

  2. Participants complete the payment and retain proof of payment for submission.
  3. File submission should follow the format CategoryCompetition_TeamLeaderName_UniversityOfOrigin.
  4. Participants duly fill out the submission form.

Competition Assesment: July 28th – August 1st 2025

  4. The competition is open to individuals and teams, with a maximum of 3 participants per team. Participants must be over the age of 18 and must have a valid social media account to submit their entries.
  5. All content posted as part of the campaign must be original and created by the participants. The content must be related to the theme “Driving Global Sustainability Through Digital Leadership and Innovation” and highlight how digital leadership and innovation can contribute to global sustainability.
  6. Participants are required to use at least one social media platform (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) for their campaign. The campaign must include posts or videos and using #ISC2025 #SocialMediaCampaignISC2025.
  7. The campaign must run for a minimum of 1 week and should be completed by the submission deadline. Entries that fail to meet the required duration or are posted after the deadline will be disqualified.
  8. Participants must submit a link to their campaign post(s) along with a brief description of the campaign strategy (maximum 1 page). The description should include details about the campaign’s goals, key messages, and how digital innovation and leadership are highlighted.
Technical Criteria
  1. Evaluation is done by the Jury Team appointed by the ISC 2025 committee.
  2. Essays received within the specified time limit will be screened by the committee and curators.
  3. The decision of the jury is final and cannot be contested.
