Theme Description

The Short Movie competition invites participants to create a compelling short film that showcases the transformative power of technology in advancing global sustainability. The film should highlight how innovative technologies, when applied creatively, can address pressing global issues such as climate change, energy conservation, social equity, and sustainable development. Participants are encouraged to explore themes of leadership, innovation, and the positive impact of technology on the future of the planet, while also emphasizing the importance of mature leadership in driving these changes. The film should inspire and engage audiences, reflecting the potential of technology in shaping a sustainable world

Competition Registration Procedure
  1. Participants can register here.
  2. Participants complete the payment and retain proof of payment for submission.
  3. File submission should follow the format CategoryCompetition_TeamLeaderName_UniversityOfOrigin.
  4. Participants duly fill out the submission form.
Important Dates For ISC 2025 Competition:

Submission Period: April 21st – July 21st 2025
Competition Assesment: July 28th – August 1st 2025
Winners Announcement: August 15th 2025

Terms And Conditions
  1. Participants must be actively enrolled students.
  2. Registration Fee

    200.000 IDR or 12 USD/ participant.
    – Senior High School :
    100.000 IDR or 6USD/ participant.

  4. Film duration: minimum 5 minutes and maximum 15 minutes (including title and credits).
  5. Example of an Short Movie Video, which can be viewed here
  6. Film can be documentary and/or fiction.
  7. The film must be original and must not use materials that violate copyright.
  8. The film must not contain elements of racism, discrimination, or inappropriate content.
  9. Participants are responsible for any copyright or related issues regarding the creation and ownership of the registered work.
  10. Maximum of 6 participants in 1 team.
  11. 1 participant can submit a maximum of 2 films with different teams.
  12. Short films should be submitted as a YouTube link in a document containing team details and submitted in .pdf format in the registration submission form.
  13. Short films uploaded on YouTube must use the hashtags #ISC2025 & #MovieISC2025 and be public.
  14. If the work uses a regional language, subtitles in Bahasa Indonesia or English must be included.
  15. The committee has the right to disqualify short films before, during, and after judging if they violate the rules and conditions in terms of concept, production, and presentation.
  16. By participating in this competition, participants grant the committee the right to use the short film for the purpose of competition publication, documentation, and screening.
Judging Criteria
  1. The judging will be done by a Judge Team appointed by the committee.
  2. Photography Competition entries received within the specified time frame will be selected by the organizing committee and curators.
  3. The jury’s decision is final and cannot be contested.
