Theme Description

The Comic Design competition encourages participants to craft a visually engaging comic strip or graphic novel that tells a story of how technology and transformative leadership can drive global sustainability. The narrative should focus on the role of leaders in using technology to solve pressing issues such as climate change, social justice, and environmental degradation. Participants should use humor, creativity, and vivid imagery to convey how leadership and technological innovation intersect to create a more sustainable and equitable future. The comic should not only entertain but also inspire action, emphasizing the importance of leadership in harnessing technology for the greater good of the planet and its people.

  1. Participants can register here.
  2. Participants complete the payment and retain proof of payment for submission.
  3. File submission should follow the format CategoryCompetition_TeamLeaderName_UniversityOfOrigin.
  4. Participants duly fill out the submission form.

Competition Assesment: July 28th – August 1st 2025

  4. Participants are responsible for any copyright issues or related matters regarding the creation and ownership of registered works. The comic design must be original and not infringe upon any intellectual property rights.
  5. Each entry may consist of a maximum of 3 (Three) participants.
  6. The comic design must be created in a digital format, with a file size not exceeding 10 MB. Submissions must be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format with a resolution of at least 300 DPI.
  7. The comic should be relevant to the theme “Tech-Driven Leadership for a Sustainable World.” All content must be in English, with clear and effective visuals and dialogues that convey the intended message. The comic must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted material.
  8. The comic must consist of no more than 7 pages. Entries exceeding this limit will be disqualified.
  9. Participants must submit the comic as a single document (PDF, JPEG, or PNG) along with a short description of the concept and ideas behind the comic. The description should be no longer than 1 page and written in English.
  10. By participating in this competition, participants grant the committee the right to use the submitted comic for promotional, documentation, and event-related purposes, including online publication and public screening during the ISC 2025 event. Copyright remains with the participant
Technical Criteria
  1. Evaluation is done by the Jury Team appointed by the ISC 2025 committee.
  2. Essays received within the specified time limit will be screened by the committee and curators.
  3. The decision of the jury is final and cannot be contested.
