Theme Description

This Business Plan competition invites participants to design and develop a business plan that not only drives profitability but also focuses on global sustainability. Participants will be challenged to harness cutting-edge technology to create solutions that address significant global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and resource scarcity. In this context, participants are expected to explore how technological advancements can optimize business operations while contributing to global sustainability goals, such as those outlined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

  1. Participants can register here.
  2. Participants complete the payment and retain proof of payment for submission.
  3. File submission should follow the format CategoryCompetition_TeamLeaderName_UniversityOfOrigin.
  4. Participants duly fill out the submission form.

  5. Each team consists of a maximum of 3 participants.
  6. Complete names of proposers (team leader and members) must be written in full.
  7. Not confined to a specific field.
  8. Student proposers can come from various different study programs or from the same study program within one university.
  9. The proposal must be an original work and not the result of plagiarism.
  10. Participants submit the business plan file in .pdf format and submit it through the registration form.
Writing Systematics
  • The title should not use acronyms or non-standard abbreviations and should be a maximum of 20 words.
  • Students compile and upload a proposal with completeness (cover, main content, and appendices), the main content (table of contents, main pages, and appendices) is a maximum of 10 pages.
  • Files are uploaded with the filename: teamleadername_universityname_bpc.pdf.
  • The proposal is written using Times New Roman font size 12 with 1.15 spacing, A4 paper size, left margin 4 cm, right, top, and bottom margins each 3 cm.
  • The completeness pages from the cover to the table of contents are numbered with letters: i, ii, iii, etc., placed at the bottom right corner.
  • The main pages starting from the introduction to the appendix are numbered with Arabic numbers: 1, 2, 3, etc., placed at the top right corner.
Writing Format

TABLE OF CONTENTS

CHAPTER I. INTRODUCTION

Present the background or reasons underlying the proposal, whether based on market research results or personal initiative to open up market share. Also, disclose the types and technical specifications of the business commodities that will be the entrepreneurial capital.

CHAPTER 2. GENERAL OVERVIEW OF BUSINESS PLAN

In this chapter, describe the general conditions of the environment that indicate the potential of resources and market opportunities, including an economic analysis of the planned business. Briefly present to demonstrate the feasibility of the business (minimum cash flow for the next 1 year that can show business sustainability).

CHAPTER 3. IMPLEMENTATION METHOD

The implementation method provides a description of the techniques/methods for making business commodities, packaging and marketing them, as well as the work stages in achieving program objectives.

CHAPTER 4. COSTS AND ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

The Recapitulation of Budget Expenditure Plan is compiled following the table format below.

4.2 Activity Schedule Activity schedule between 3-5 months is prepared in the form of a bar chart.

REFERENCES

The bibliography is arranged based on the name and year system, with the order of author names, year, title of the article, and source in 1 spacing. Only references cited in the research proposal are included in the bibliography.

Judging Criteria
  • Evaluation is done by the Jury Team appointed by the ISC 2025 committee.
  • Business Plan Competition entries received within the specified time limit will be screened by the committee and curators.
  • The decision of the jury is final and cannot be contested.
